The staff of the Institute of Enterprise Ethics is a small but focused team of professionals dedicated to the Mission & Purpose of the Institute.

Program Coordinator

Ashley Mercer joined the Institute for Enterprise Ethics as Program Coordinator in December of 2014.  Prior to this, she worked for an executive assistant for the CEO of an insurance company in Kansas City.

She attended Newman University in Wichita, KS. for her undergraduate degree in Business Marketing and Spanish.

 Dan Sweeney | Istitute for Enterprise Ethics

Dr. Daniel J. Sweeney

Daniel Sweeney was named the Director of the Institute for Enterprise Ethics in 2011, having served on the Institute’s Executive Committee for the preceding two years. Dr. Sweeney has served on the adjunct faculty in the Daniels Department of Marketing since 2001 and has been active in various College programs over the past ten years. In 2003 Dr. Sweeney founded and for several years was president of the Center for Corporate Excellence, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the level of ethical behavior in the business community.  The Center was incorporated into the Institute for Enterprise Excellence in 2010. Dr. Sweeney has served on the boards of directors of several public and private corporations. His earlier career included service on the faculty of the University of Tennessee, an executive with the Dayton-Hudson Corporation, Chairman of the Management Horizons consulting group, partner with Price Waterhouse and as an executive with the IBM Consulting Group.
